Sharks are one of the oldest animals alive today, they are even older than dinosaurs. Even though that might be creepy, scary and kind of frightening sometimes they are not that bad just largely misunderstood by millions of people all over the world.
What people need to know about sharks is that they are not as mean as movies, books, t-shirts and other things make them out be.
Shark Attacks
"Shark attack"- it rings through the back of your head when in the ocean, but it is highly unlikely to be attacked by a shark. Most shark attacks don’t even kill the person attacked. And sharks don’t attack humans for food. They attack because they thought that we were food. Now sharks don’t eat humans we eat them. We are a bigger threat to sharks than they are to us, find it hard to believe, just trust me, it’s a fact. Look it up.
What is a shark?
Though many people say that sharks are not fish they really are.
All sharks have a few similarities, all have a dorsal fin, caudal fin (tail fin), gills, and teeth. Even whale, basking, and mega mouth sharks have teeth just small ones but still teeth.
Large and small sharks have a basic body shape (some don’t it just depends), a torpedo. The most logical reason for this body shape is that like a toy torpedo that you play with in the pool, they are fast, so are most sharks, this also depends on tail shape.
