Leopard sharks are relatively small sharks and are very abundant throughout the world. Because of that they are the lab rats of the shark world, much of what we know about sharks lives are based after leopard sharks. They are most common is shallow-ish waters where they can find food such as clams, shrimp and crabs along with other creatures. These sharks are able to become over fished soon because of their low reproduction rates and the fishing of these sharks.
These sharks grow up to four feet long and can have between 4-37 pups. They swim alone and in large groups. They are beautiful sharks.
