When you first look at a sandtiger shark you see the large needle-like teeth. These teeth help the shark hunt fish. Fish are often slippery and triangle shaped teeth are more useful for catching and eating large marine mammals. Sandtiger sharks teeth are better for fish hunting. Sandtiger sharks often have puffed out gills and have a gray colored body. Sandtiger sharks grow up to 10 feet long and and have 2 pups every other year.
